Trek Equipment List

This list is provided to help you gather the hear you will need for the Trek. Because of the weight (20 lbs total per person--can be less, but not more) and space limitations of our handcarts and our attempt to create an authentic pioneer experience, you will be limited in the amount of gear you can bring. Each participant will have one duffel bag and one 5-gallon bucket (with a lid). You will need the items listed here. Please do not bring anything else. We will not be able to take it on the trail.
NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES OF ANY KIND!

Everyone Should Bring:

1 duffel bag that will hold the following:
1 warm sleeping bag (it can get cold at night)
1 Pillow
1 Blanket
1 Rain Poncho
1 Jacket or Sweater
(place the rain poncho & jacket at the top of your bag so that they will be easy to access)
***These are the only things that should go in your duffel bag!
Everything else goes into your bucket!***
