Where is the Trek location?
Trek will be held at Riley's Farm.

How much walking will we do?
We will walk and pull handcarts from 5 to 10 miles each day. It will be important to be in shape and to have sturdy tennis shoes/boots. Start now to exercise and to break in your shoes. You will be glad you did!

What should I be doing now to prepare for the Trek?
Your Trek experience will depend on how well you are prepared. You can prepare spiritually by learning about the pioneers (see Pioneer Stories under Trek Resources), memorizing our Trek theme song, "Faith in Every Footstep" and listening to other hymns under that embody the pioneer spirit, attending the temple to perform baptisms and by reading Doctrine & Covenants sections 4 and 136. You can prepare physically by exercising throughout the next few months.

When do I need to have my pioneer clothes?
Plan on having all of your pioneer clothing one month prior to Trek. DI or Good Will are great resources. We recommend that you start to collect (or sew) your clothing as early as possible.

Can I wear contacts?
The use of contacts is discouraged. It can be windy and the handcarts might kick up a lot of dust. Plan now to have a pair of glasses you can use. If you must wear contacts have a sturdy pair of sunglasses on hand to protect your eyes.

When do I need to return my Permission/Medical form?
Youth must return their form to their ward youth leaders before April 12, 2015
The stake will be collecting them at the Kick-off Fireside that night.

When do I need to have all of my personal equipment together?
You should have everything together 1 week prior to trek.
 More information to come.

How are we getting there?
This information will be posted later as the details are ironed out.

Can I come to Trek late or leave early?
No. If you attend Trek you must arrive and leave with the main group.

Can I bring my iPod or cell phone?
No. Cell phones, iPods, MP3 players, or gaming devices are not allowed.

Will there be medical personnel on hand in case of emergency?
